Fuego will be sizzling with food, fun and fireworks as Hotel Maya presents a sensational salute to America with a Barbeque Buffet Dinner and seaside seats for fantastic fireworks on Friday, July 4 from 6-9 p.m. Guests will also enjoy the hot sounds of a live Latin fusion band on Fuego’s waterfront patio!

Executive Chef Victor Juarez has prepared a delicious Fourth of July Barbeque Buffet Dinner that begins with Soup and Salads including Cuban style Macaroni salad, Ensalada Russa (beet and potato salad) Chipotle Caesar salad, Wild Berry & Kale salad, Tomato and Cucumber salad along with cole slaw, grilled vegetables, sliced fresh fruit, Texan chili with beef and beans, and jalapeno cheese corn muffins.

The holiday Seafood Station offers Shrimp Cocktail and Alaskan Crab Legs with cocktail sauce, horseradish and lemon.

Fuego’s fresh Ceveche features mahi-mahi, Fuego mojo, aji panca, mango, island style shrimp, with chipotle, citrus, jicama and calamari and bay scallops, and coconut-ginger.

Fuego’s Barbeque Station serves BBQ Pork and Beef Ribs, Beef Sliders, and Seafood Kabob, with roasted corn on the cobb, honey baked beans, and macaroni and cheese.

An Independence Day Taco Station features Grilled Skirt Steak, Cilantro Jalapeno Chicken, and California Fish with fresh homemade salsas, guacamole, queso fresco, and cabbage escabeche.

Fuego’s Carving Station serves Steamship of Beef with au jus and cream horseradish.

Fourth of July Entrees include Beef Barbacoa, Jack Daniel’s Barbeque Chicken and Grilled Snapper Vera Cruz; Smoked Kielbasa Sausage with onion and green pepper; and Baked Almandine Green Been with fried onions and roasted Yukon potatoes.

The Fuego Dessert Extravaganza includes apple, cherry, pecan and chocolate tarts, warm fruit cobbler, bread pudding with caramel sauce, Mexican caramel flan,s’mores and lemon bars, along with assorted cup cakes and brownies.

Fourth of July barbecue guests will enjoy margarita and beer specials, in addition to complimentary coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks.

Fuego’s Fourth of July Barbecue Buffet Dinner costs $95.00 per adult and children, 13 and older; $47.50 for children, 12 and under; Free for children 5 and under; plus tax and gratuity.
