Beer Dinner – Del Frisco’s Grille – Irvine

Del Frisco’s Grille at Irvine Spectrum will host its first-ever Beer Dinner onMarch 30 at 5pm with The Boston Beer Company. The cost is $35 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, and includes a four-course tasting menu paired with complementary beers from the Boston brewer. Each guest will also receive a keepsake to take home.

Coconut Curry Pork Ribs
Rebel IPA a West Coast-style IPA

SECOND COURSE
Pan-Seared Scallops with Grapefruit Puree and Grilled Asparagus
Cold Snap – a smooth wheat with the bright snap of spring spices

THIRD COURSE
Beer Braised Short Ribs
Sam Adams Boston Lager – a balanced, complex and full-bodied “go-to” brew

FOURTH COURSE
Apple Tart and Salted Caramel Sauce
Illusive Traveler Grapefruit Ale

Representatives from The Boston Beer Company will guide guests through each course explaining the nuances and flavor profiles of each beer.

“With the explosion of craft beer pairing dinners are no longer limited to wine,” says Executive Chef Sarah Daniels. “I’m extremely excited that we’re launching a Beer Series dinner. It’s really fun to create a menu where the beer complements the food and, more importantly, the food complements the beer.”
