Local favorite eatery The Federal will be hosting Beer Yoga classes during the summer beginning Thursday, June 27th at 6 p.m. Attendees will enjoy sips of a choice of specialty beer before, during and after the 45 minute classes lead by yoga instructor Stephanie Serrano.
The Federal is located at 102 Pine Avenue, in Downtown Long Beach. The classes will be scheduled monthly to start, but depending on interest could become weekly.
Attendees will get a very unique opportunity to balance beer sipping during poses. Space is limited to 25 and $20 advance purchase tickets are available HERE. Walk-ins are welcome provided there is space available. Attendees must be ages 21 or over and are encouraged to arrive no later than 5:45pm to choose their preferred beer from the special menu and reserve mat space on the floor.
“We are excited to start hosting classes that will appeal to beer-loving yogis,” said Jeff Osborn, general manager of The Federal. “Unlike most beer yoga classes where attendees taste beer following the class, we decided to take the unique approach of allowing class attendees enjoy sips of beer during the yoga class flow.”
