Perfect wines for Thanksgiving dinner
As a fifth generation Napa Valley winemaker of the famed Caymus family, Joe Wagner learned his way around a vineyard long before he was of legal drinking age. By the time he was 19, he created Belle Glos, with a focus on a luxurious line of vineyard-designated Pinot Noirs from California’s best coastal regions.
Belle Glos showcases the distinctive Pinot Noirs from top growing areas in California including Russian River Valley, Santa Maria Valley, and Santa Lucia Highlands. Joe has recently added two additional vineyards to the Belle Glos collection, Ballade (Santa Maria Valley) and Eulenloch (Carneros in Napa Valley). The Ballade was previously a restaurant only wine, so we are pleased to offer this bright and Juicy Pinot for the first time. The Eulenloch is their newest release offering a darker pinot from Napa for the cabernet lover. They will be sampling the 2016’s for these two wines, which are nicely aged and drinking beautifully right now. They purchased the last stock available for these two wines for this tasting.
The Taylor Lane Sonoma Coast Pinot is a special release item only available in Magnums. Joe went retro with this gorgeous bottle, making it a Burgundian Style with the help of a French Wine Consultant.

2018 Belle Glos Las Alturas Pinot Noir – Deep purple garnet in color and aromas of sun-ripened cherries, sweet plums, hints of cola, and white pepper. Dark fruit flavors of blackberry and cherry. A full and intense expression of Pinot Noir.
2016 Belle Glos Ballade Pinot Noir – Bright cherry with blackberry jam, raspberry tart and toasted oak with subtle notes of rose petal, violets and cherry cola. This wine is juicy and generous with baked cherry, fresh strawberry, cranberry and baking spices.
2016 Belle Glos Eulenloch Pinot Noir – Deep crimson red in color, with aromas of marionberry and black raspberry with hints of baking spices and honeysuckle. Flavors of bing cherry and ripe blackberry complemented by strawberry filling with hints of vanilla, and hazelnut.
2018 Belle Glos Dairyman Pinot Noir – Deep garnet in color with pleasing aromas of blueberry, blackberry pie, and black
cherry. There is an earthy cola tone with dark berry flavor with a touch of vanilla. Refined tannins and a long-lasting finish.
2018 Belle Glos Clark and Telephone Pinot Noir – Aromas of cranberry and raspberry jam, laced with clove, cedar, and baking spices. Flavors of crushed ripe cherry, cranberry and blueberry pie. The texture is rich and lively with a warm and structured finish.
2011 Belle Glos Taylor Lane Pinot Noir – Released in 2019, This wine combines cool coastal temperatures and afternoon sunshine to create a balance between rich black cherry fruit flavors and crisp spicy notes. Mocha, cedar and vanilla notes chime in on the silky finish. Beautifully aged and read to enjoy.
