Breakfast in the Barn – Guest Chef Series
Hosted by Chef, Pascal Olhats

January Welcomes
Chef Chris Tzorin

Executive Chef of Tortilla Republic, Laguna Beach

Chef Chris Tzorin has more than 12 years of professional culinary experience and extensive knowledge of Orange County’s restaurant scene. Executive Chef Chris Tzorin leads the ongoing development and execution of Orange County’s newest concepts specializing in contemporary coastal cuisine. He incorporates elements of world wide cuisines, using progressive culinary techniques to create exploratory, yet approachable dishes at my restaurants and corporate events.

Chef Chris was born to be a chef and his ongoing ambition drives him to go beyond his dreams, because to him nothing is impossible. He is the second generation of Chefs, while his father Chef Luis Tzorin mentored young Chris beginning at the age of 13. By helping out his father in the kitchen, the passion of cooking grew inside of Chris.

He attended the Art Institute of California in Orange County to further his career. Chef Chris has worked with The Beach House, Chateaux, and 195 Downtown Grill as Executive Chef at Savannah Chop House and now Tortilla Republic, Laguna Beach.

“My goal is to provide the guests a unique and modern culinary experience grounded in the context of traditional favors, by reinventing cuisine one event at a time.”
