Cake Decorating Class

Charm City Cakes West, the West Hollywood bakeryand custom cake boutique famous for its eye-popping cake designs, is teaching some of its creative tips and tricks through a series of intimate cake decorating classes, launching at the end of this month.

Led by Charm City Cakes West’s team of professional decorators, students ages 14 and up will learn how to work with fondant, airbrush, hand paint designs, and more. Each participant walks away with their own personally decorated cake, inspired by some of Charm City Cakes West’s most popular, seasonal designs.

Reservations are required and space is limited.

Summer Rosette

Saturday, May 31 at 11:00am

Participants will be walked through the steps of creating this bright, summery cake. Students will receive a 6″ iced cake and learn how to decorate it with beautiful, pastel rosettes.

Rainbow Animal Print

Saturday, June 14 at 11:00am

In this class, students will receive a 6″ iced cake, and will learn how to fondant, airbrush a rainbow gradient, and hand paint animal print patterns. Participants will also get to create a festive, glittery topper out of gumpaste to adorn their cake.

Stars and Stripes Class

Saturday, June 28 at 11:00am

Celebrate the start of your summer with this wonderfully patriotic cake. Each student will receive a 6″ iced cake. They will learn the steps to properly fondant it, and apply the stars and stripes. A perfect way to get in the Fourth of July celebratory mood!
