Mess Hall is partnering with the LGBTQ Center of OC to bring you Blossoming – Trans Pride 2022 on September 24 from 12-6PM. Enjoy live entertainment, lawn games, resource booths, workshops, panels, and so much more! Guests will be able to attend workshops that cover important issues such as trans history plus a panel featuring medical, mental, and legal professionals who will discuss issues that trans individuals face in their everyday lives and how to overcome those obstacles. Another panel will feature trans and non-binary community members, and trans artists.
Vendors for the event will include the Transgender Health and Wellness Center, a transgender-led organization that provides direct support for those less fortunate in the trans community, TurnOut, a volunteer organization that aims to empower trans and queer movements, and Covenant House California, a non-profit youth shelter. Also in attendance will be the OC Health Care Agency, Radiant Health Centers, and the UCI Family Health Center who will be onsite to provide support and information for all attendees.
