Clam Chowder Cook-Off

7th Annual Whale of a Clam Chowder Cook-Off – Sample a variety of tasty chowders from local restaurants and organizations and then vote for your favorite from 11 AM to 3 PM at Baby Beach grassy area. Tasting packets will include taste sampling tickets, tasting cups, and spoons – only $10 to taste every sample – makes a great lunch! Prizes will be awarded for the People’s Choice Best Chowder, Best Booth Design and Mayor’s Choice. The Perpetual Trophy will be presented at 4 PM. This year enjoy a Beer & Wine Garden for adults over 21 with a valid driver’s license. Proceeds will benefit Fish for Life, a nonprofit program that takes children with special needs ocean fishing…in grand style!
