Holi is a spring festival also known as the festival of colors or the festival of love and this year will be celebrated on March 6th. In celebration of Holi, Clay Oven will offer some traditional foods customarily served at Holi from March 6th 13th. The menu includes:
· Pani Puri (chickpea puffs) with sour beer and sweet chutney ($10)
· Yogurt curry with dumplings ($16)
· Chana Bhatura Masala (chickpeas in a traditional masala sauce) ($16)
· Bhujia (pastry turnovers) stuffed with cherry, dry fruits and coconut ($12)
Though Holi typically embraces a vegetarian menu, the Clay Oven will modify the offerings to include Lamb Keema Mattar (minced lamb curry with peas) ($24) and Kath Katha (spicy chicken cooked in a tandoor oven) ($20).
