Conversation With Malcolm Warner

The Conversation With… series brings artists and other creative minds to Laguna Art Museum to discuss their practice in a casual conversation with guests. The next participant in the series is Laguna Art Museum’s Executive Director Malcolm Warner. The evening will begin with a brief presentation by Warner, followed by the opportunity for museum visitors to engage with him in conversation.

This year Laguna Beach’s food and wine festival, Celebrate Good Taste, takes place during the museum’s exhibition of the art of Wayne Thiebaud, one of the greatest ever painters of food. Warner marks the occasion with a talk on food and drink in art. Taking a broad historical view of the subject, he shows how Thiebaud’s work continues a centuries-old tradition.
