The San Diego Chapter of Corazon de Vida Foundation is hosting its annual fundraising event called ‘Noche de Gala’. The event will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the prestigious University Club, located in downtown San Diego atop the Symphony Towers with stunning views of the City. The event starts at 6:30pm. This year’s event is in honor of Larry and Carolina Katz, for their generous support of Corazon de Vida and the children of Baja.
Tickets are on sale for $100 online (at www.classy.org/nochedegala) and $125 at the door. The evening will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast, dessert bar, silent auction and live music from the acclaimed music of the Gilbert Castellanos Trio”. Gilbert Castellanos was recently named the San Diego Music Awards winner for: Artist of the Year, Best Jazz Album, and Best Jazz. Castellanos has performed with incredibly talented and famous artists like Dizzy Gillespie, George Benson, Al Jarreau, Liza Minnelli, and Natalie Cole, just to name a few.
Noche de Gala sponsors include Normerica International Corporation, The Packard Companies, Bird Rock Systems, Viejas Tribal Government, Warren & Burstein, Ortega’s A Mexican Bistro and Matisse Bistro.
About Corazon de Vida:
Corazon de Vida is a non-profit organization that supports orphanages in Baja. It provides children in dire need the necessities of shelter, food, clothing, education, and healthcare – as well as hope, compassion and love. CDV not only financially supports orphanages in Baja, but also provides assistance through frequent cross-border visits by board members, staff, and volunteers.
