Crawloween

Yeah, that Donald Trump wig won’t be getting much play here. With Halloween landing on a Saturday, the mad scientists at Beelman’s Pub, Spring St. Bar, Library Bar, Sixth Street Tavern, and King Eddy Saloon have cooked up five different ways to cut loose inDowntown Los Angeles with the return of Crawloween. From 5:00pm – 1:30am on October 31st, each establishment will mutate into cover-free cult-costumed party venues. Sunday morning has never looked so unproductive.

At King Eddy Saloon’s Pro-Wrestling Superstars bash, The Rock can raise a drink and an eyebrow to Macho Man Randy Savage, while David Bowie gets ziggy with Freddy Mercury for the 70’s Glam Rock banger at Beelman’s Pub. Beat generationals hunting for bop can flock to the Sock Hop at Sixth Street Tavern, while the walking dead can discuss proper flossing technique at Spring St. Bar’s Day of the Dead romp. Imagine John Lennon buying a round atLibrary Bar’s Dead Celebrities gathering!

Any way the crawler dices it, each bar will offer a signature spiked punch for $5 and judge a costume contest at 9:00pm. The walkability of Crawloween is insane, as all locations exist within a few square downtown blocks of each other. Attendees are free to cut their own path and crash each party as they dare.
