Following the overwhelming, sold-out success of the first Long Beach RICE & SHINE Filipino style brunches earlier this month, Chef AC Boral will host another RICE & SHINE brunch on September 10th, 12 – 2pm. The brunch menu is eight courses and includes: Halo Halo Parfait with mango yogurt, pili nut granola, melon and crispy rice, Breakfast Pancit egg noodle, shrimp, yolk sauce and kalamansi, Sisig Chilaquiles, Ube Mochi Waffle with coconut caramel and ensaymada butter, Garlic Rice, Ensaladang Kamatis tomato & salted duck egg salad, Longanisa Scotch Egg soft-boiled egg wrapped in Filipino breakfast sausage, coated in pinipig crispy rice and deep fried, and Auntie Rose’s Sweets (for guests to take home). The RICE & SHINE brunch is $49 with an option to add bottomless Rosé Mimosas for an additional $20. Tickets may be purchased on-line only HERE up to the day of the event, and bottomless mimosa option may only be purchased when the ticket is purchased. There will be no cash sales at the event. The brunch will begin at noon and seating is limited. The “secret” location in downtown Long Beach’s East Village neighborhood will be disclosed to diners three days prior to the event.
