On Monday, May 19, Chef Matthew Lightner of New York City’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant Atera will be featured as part of Los Angeles’ most noted “guest chef” program, the Culinary Masters Series at The Strand House restaurant in Manhattan Beach. He will join the restaurant’s Executive Chef Greg Hozinsky in the kitchen at The Strand House to prepare an exclusive five-course, wine-paired culinary feast for 100 guests.
The dinner will feature Lightner’s modern American cooking and will mark his return to California after stints in some of the world’s most celebrated kitchens.
The night will begin with a 30-minute reception at 6:30 p.m. featuring a selection of tray-passed hors d’oeuvres. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
The dinner is priced at $125 per person, with an additional $50 for the wine pairings, excluding tax and a 20% service charge.
