DUNKIN’ DONUTS GRAND OPENING IN YORBA LINDA ON AUGUST 1

YORBA LINDA, California (July 18, 2016) – Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, announced today the grand opening of its new Yorba Linda location scheduled for  Monday, Aug. 1. The Orange County establishment, located at 4858 Valley View Ave., will open its doors to guests at 5 a.m. and offer Dunkin’ Donuts’ full array of signature menu items including fresh brewed coffee and iced beverages, delicious baked goods and sandwiches.

To commemorate the grand opening, the first guest in both the drive-thru and walk-in line will receive a $250 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card while the initial 50 guests to walk through the doors will be rewarded $5 gift cards and Dunkin’ Donuts branded travel mugs. Free passed samples, additional gift card giveaways and photo opportunities with the brand’s beloved mascot Cuppy will also keep guests entertained throughout the day. Local dignitaries will be invited to join in the grand opening excitement and welcome Dunkin’ Donuts to the Yorba Linda community at the restaurant’s ceremonial ribbon cutting.

The Yorba Linda location will be owned and operated by franchisee, Parag Patel, who opened his first Southern California Dunkin’ Donuts in Villa Park this June. Coming from the East Coast, Patel’s family has been a part of the Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee community since establishing their first Maryland location in 1989. Patel will leverage his personal experience with the brand as he contributes to Dunkin’ Donuts’ West Coast expansion efforts.

In addition to Villa Park and Yorba Linda, Patel plans to open a number of North Orange County Dunkin’ Donuts over the coming years, including one in Riverside later this summer.In addition to remarks from Patel and local dignitaries, the grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony will include a $1,000 check presentation to both the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and The Boys & Girls Club of Brea -Placentia -Yorba Linda. Dunkin’ Donuts is committed to improving children’s health in local communities and these donations will help support that mission within the immediate Yorba Linda area as well as greater Orange County.

The Yorba Linda restaurant will feature a new design, which is the first of its kind in California. With an emphasis on guest comfort both inside and out, the store decor will have a calming earth tone color palette complemented with natural materials and colorful artwork. There will also be a unique, open frontline visibility to coffee and espresso beverages as well as a prominent bakery display that will help customers easily identify the menu items that are best for them.
