Spring into Easter with Sunday Brunch in Fuego at Hotel Maya on Sunday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fuego will also present live Latin music at the water’s edge.

Hotel Maya and Fuego Easter Brunch guests will enjoy an appearance by the Easter Bunny to coincide with a family egg hunt with prizes for the children. In addition, a unique Petting Zoo will be available with baby bunnies, baby chicks, and baby ducks.

Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego’s stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.

“Easter Brunch at Fuego is a special time spent with family and friends on the patio enjoying the springtime weather and delicious food and drinks,” said Kristi Allen, Vice President of Hotel Operations at Hotel Maya – a Doubletree by Hilton. “Guests will also have fun at our holiday petting zoo along with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny to host Fuego’s annual Easter egg hunt for the children.”

For Easter Brunch, Executive Chef Victor Juarez has prepared a delicious meal that begins with sensational Salads including Cuban Style Macaroni Salad; Green Bean and Potato Salad with red wine vinaigrette; Spring Green Salad with red chili pecans, shaved red onion, tomato and cucumber; Hearts of Palm Salad with roasted corn, cotija, chopped romaine and lemon dressing; Spring Kale and Berry Salad with broken raspberry vinaigrette; Quinoa Salad with roasted water chestnuts, parsley and dried fruits; Roasted Beet Salad with pepper escabeche, pepitas and goat cheese; and Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs.

Platters and Displays offer Classic Cheese and Charcuterie Station; Smoked Salmon with mini bagels, cream cheese and traditional condiments; Chilled Seafood with jumbo gulf shrimp, Alaskan king crab legs and cocktail sauce horseradish aïoli; Antipasto with roasted vegetables, olives and artichokes; Ceviche featuring mahi-mahi, steamed shrimp and salmon; Heirloom tomatoes and Buffalo mozzarella; and fresh fruit, melon and seasonal berries.

Fuego Easter Taco Station offers Cilantro Jalapeno Grilled Skirt Steak, Tequila Lime Chicken and Beef Barbacoa, along with fresh homemade salsas.

Springtime Specialty Omelets and Waffles to include Omelets and Eggs made to order with a choice of proteins and vegetables; Waffles with sweetened condensed milk, dulce de leche, cinnamon whipped cream and strawberries.

Fuego’s Easter Brunch Hot Entrées include a choice of Fuego Eggs Benedict, with spinach, applewood smoked bacon and hollandaise; Grilled Lamb Chops with chimichurri, pepper escabeche and cotija; Honey Mustard Glazed Bone-in Ham; Yucatán Beef Barbacoa Adobo Braised Short Prime Rib; Seared Fillet of Salmon Citrus Achiote Rubbed; Fired Roasted Chicken Artichoke and caper berry butter sauce; along with Scalloped Potatoes with Bacon and Arugula; and Caramelized Carrots and Baby Turnips.
