TOMORROW, April 30, Fashion Island’s olive oil oasis, FIG & OLIVE Newport Beach, is hosting an exclusive prix-fixe brunch ($29) in honor of the recently launched Tesla Model S sedan. From 11am to 3pm, guests may delight in seasonal springtime ingredients – asparagus, fennel, and clementine – before they take the new Model S for a 15-minute for a test drive around Newport Beach.
Sample dishes include:
• Petite Burrata & Asparagus – burrata, asparagus, snow pea, hazelnut, arugula, micro-basil, and blood orange emulsion
• Riviera Salmon – crisply seared salmon, grilled asparagus, braised fennel, pea purée, lemon zest, and Arbequina olive oil emulsion
• Clementine Vacherin – blood orange coulis, clementine sorbet, white chocolate mousse, and meringue
