Shade Hotels in Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach celebrate fathers this holiday with a “penny pint” special* on the best brews in the house, with the purchase of an entrée, on Sunday, June 18, from open to close. Guests of Shade Redondo Beach’s Sea Level Restaurant & Lounge and Shade Manhattan Beach’s zinc@shade can choose a dish from the traditional menu or from a special Dad’s Day menu featuring an array of savory dishes sure to please pop’s palate.  And, in partnership with Skechers shoes, Shade Hotels will host a raffle for two complimentary vouchers for a pair of new shoes from Skechers.

Shade Manhattan Beach – Zinc@shade will offer dining on the outdoor terrace and in the lounge, and in addition to the regular menu, a few savory selections created by Executive Chef Ashley Oates will be offered. The special items include a gourmet twist on traditional dishes such as a breakfast pizza topped with savory speck ham, bacon, crispy potatoes, mozzarella cheese, pico de gallo, a fried egg and Fresno chili; and a lamb chop Benedict served with white cheddar and chive biscuits, hollandaise sauce and sautéed spinach. Other inspired dishes will include a chilaquiles skillet served with crisp tortilla chips, house made ranchera sauce, cotija cheese and ancho sour cream with an over medium egg and garlic chimichurri; and a black and bleu open face steak sandwich with marinated skirt steak, bacon jam, garlic toast and chimichurri blackened fries.
