Every veteran and active member of the military will enjoy a free home-cooked meal on November 11 at Mama’s on 39.

In honor of Veterans Day, Mama’s on 39 is paying homage to veterans and active military personnel by offering them a free meal throughout the day. The restaurant will open early for the holiday at 10 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.

“The men and women who have served and serve our country are owed a debt of gratitude that is too large to repay; however, by providing them with a free meal, we are hoping to let them know we appreciate their sacrifices and service,” said owner Pete Truxaw.

Nestled on the corner Beach Boulevard and Atlanta Avenue, Mama’s on 39 serves farm-fresh comfort foods with a culinary twist along with Thrifty ice cream flavors. The restaurant is also known for its unique crafted cocktails and infamous 32-ounce “Mama Mary.”

To receive a free meal, veterans and military personnel must show their military ID.
