Join us at The Ecology Center on Sunday, July 10th. Experience a hands-on cooking class with Chef Kerri Cacciata using fresh, organic, in season ingredients from our garden and enjoy a farm-to-table meal.
We’ll begin with a sensory exploration of The Ecology Center’s orchard, veggie, and herb gardens, and end with the preparation and enjoyment of a meal together.
Join us for this hands-on cooking class to learn how to utilize the abundant and diverse harvest of tomatoes and create delicious, fresh foods.
In this cooking class we will:
- Taste a range of heirloom tomatoes to compare flavors and textures
- Discuss ways to use tomatoes fresh, cooked, and in food preservation
- Learn how to save tomato seeds
- Share a farm style meal together after class
