Drawing near its March 1 evening fete, Pacific Coast Wine Festival shares a sneak peek of its amazing experiences created for the 2014 attendees including exclusive pours in the Global Wine Tasting, 224 imaginative silent auction packages, 17 jaw dropping live auction experiences worth well over $175,000, and even a “Port & Chocolate Afterglow” tasting.
Held at the Island Hotel on Saturday, March 1, the festival kicks off at 5:00 pm for the Global Wine Tasting. Attendees will experience over two dozen renowned wineries, winemakers and distributors with features from Argentina, Italy, Spain, Australia, France, California, Portugal, South Africa and more. While enjoying these wines, attendees can bid on the Silent Auction packages with offerings such as a spa retreat, VIP shopping affair, exclusive wines, and Southern California’s sports and cultural experiences. Guests will move into the ballroom for the 7:00 pm luxury dinner with hand selected wine pairings. The exciting Live Auction kicks off at 8:00 pm with unique opportunities like the coveted Domaine de la Romanee-Conti wines, a trip to Oregon’s beautiful Pinot Noir country, and skiing and lodging at North America’s Number One Rated Resort Deer Valley, Utah. The evening concludes with Pacific Coast Wine Festival’s renowned Port & Chocolate Afterglow tasting.
Pacific Coast Wine Festival is a premier fundraiser for Pacific Symphony with proceeds supporting its award-winning education, artistic, and community programs such as “Heartstrings” and “Class Act.” Heartstrings delivers beautiful symphonic music to the Orange County community with complimentary performances and customized programs. Class Act is a widely professed school enrichment program bringing comprehensive symphonic education to nearly 30 Orange County elementary schools.
