Garden Fusions: The Great Pumpkin Feast

Join the Sherman Library and Garden for the final Garden Fusions of 2017.  The dinner will feature horticulture hosts Anne and Dan Manassero of Manassero Farms. They will discuss the growing of pumpkins and table design using pumpkins. Dinner seating will be at long communal tables in the tradition of the harvest feast. Chef Pascal Olhats will educate and entertain with a table-side cooking demonstration.

Hors- d’oeuvres:

Pumpkin and Mozzarella Bruschetta,

Cheddar and Pumpkin Quesadilla,

Savory Pumpkin Macaron

Dinner:

First Course:

Butternut Squash and Pumpkin Chowder with Sage Butter

Second Course:

Shrimp and Mussel Brochette on Grilled Acorn Squash with Pumpkin Seed Beurre Blanc

Main Course:

Braised Beef Short Rib with Pumpkin Risotto and Pumpkin Chips

Dessert:

Baby Pumpkin and Coconut Cream Brulee
