“Highway 101” Wine Dinner

TAPS Fish House & Brewery in Irvine, in partnership with Pavilions, invites you to partake in a unique “Highway 101” themed wine dinner on Thursday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. Master Sommelier Michael Jordan will guide guests through a five-course menu expertly paired with select wines from a stretch of the iconic California highway.

Guests will be greeted with 2017 Copain “Tous Ensemble” Rosé. The culinary journey begins with Argentinian Rock Shrimp Salad Crostini paired with 2016 Matanzas Creek Sauvignon Blanc followed by Harry’s Berries Strawberry and Octopus Salad with 2015 Brewer-Clifton Chardonnay and 2016 Hartford Court Chardonnay. Next, Crispy Confit Duck Leg will be paired with 2015 Carmel Road Pinot Noir and 2014 Champ de Rêves Pinot Noir. A fourth-course features New Zealand Lamb prepared two ways: roasted lamb lollipops and lamb agnolotti, served with 2014 Cambria Syrah. Dinner concludes with a Spiced Chocolate & Pistachio Cake with 2013 Mantanzas Creek Merlot.

The five-course dinner with wine is priced at $99 per person; exclusive of tax and gratuity.
