I Love Poke Festival

Due to overwhelming requests and success of the event’s 2011 launch, the I Love Poke Festival is back in Orange County. The 2nd Annual I Love Poke Festival, a food festival and restaurant competition, invites poke connoisseurs and newcomers to celebrate the Hawaiian delicacy, lifestyle and culture at Don the Beachcomber in Huntington Beach on June 5th.

This year, chefs who compete in the foodie festival’s main event, a culinary battle for the title of “Best Poke” will be required to use a sustainable seafood product in their dish. Each chef will create one Poke dish that will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on presentation, quality of ingredients and flavor. Several Orange County restaurants, including Hapa J’s and North Shore Poke Company, aim to take the title of Best Poke.
