Iconic American brands HOT ROD and In-N-Out Burger announced today a joint 70th anniversary party at the Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, California, on Saturday, November 17, 2018, to celebrate 70 incredible years since both Southern California businesses opened within 25 miles of each other.
The 70th anniversary party will have something for the whole family, including a rare opportunity for historic vehicles to drag race the hallowed lanes of Pomona, on-site In-N-Out cookout trucks, an outdoor car show featuring historic race cars, special historical exhibits, and the chance to view the history of HOT ROD, as well as opportunities to meet the HOT ROD staff. Gates will open at 8 a.m. for this must-attend, one-time event.
“In 2018, HOT ROD is celebrating 70 years as a leader within the automotive industry. We are incredibly excited to share this anniversary with another Southern California icon,” says HOT ROD General Manager Jonathan Mill. “In-N-Out’s dedicated involvement in drag racing, hot rodding, and iconic car culture make it the ideal partner for this historic celebration. We’re excited to look back to ‘where it all began’ and enjoy a day of burgers and burnouts at one of the most significant dragstrips in the world, Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.”

Auto enthusiasts rejoice! Participants can enjoy the rare opportunity to sign up for drag racing at historic Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. A special exhibit of historic HOT ROD cover and feature cars will be open to all. Participants may enter a Show ’n’ Shine with HOT ROD Editor’s Choice Awards and special In-N-Out Picks. Attendees can also experience the Nostalgia Drag Racing Show, In-N-Out cookout trucks, autograph sessions, live music, and much more.
SPECTATOR TICKETS Spectator tickets are on sale now. Advance tickets are $15, on-site tickets are $20. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
