On Thursday’s, for both lunch and dinner services, OCC Culinary and Food Service Management Departments host a prix fixe meal program that is fully student run with the assistance of their instructors. While still being considered a classroom, various OCC courses provide this real life experience in both the front and back-of-house. For Spring of 2019, the Captain’s Table will be offering a weekly cuisine from somewhere around the world.
The calendar for the semester’s dining opportunities are:
- February 28: Mexico
- March 7: Italy
- March 14: France
- March 21: Spain
- April 4: Greece
- April 11: China
- April 18: Japan
- April 25: Thailand
- May 2: India
- May 9: American Regional of California
- May 16: American Regional of Cajun/Creole
Lunch seating times: 11:30 am, 11:45 am, 12 pm, 12:15 pm
Dinner seating times: 5:30 pm, 5:45 pm, 6 pm, 6:15 pm
