Bayside Restaurant presents its next in the Jazz on the Bay series + Saturday Brunch featuring vocalist, Luke Carlsen. This week is extra special, benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Assn. in Orange County (JDRF OC). JDRF works tirelessly to fund research to battle type 1 diabetes.
Always of fan of the classic crooners like Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Jr., and Dean Martin, Carlsen was lucky enough to have a voice to match his passion for music. His baritone voice with rich lows, and tender highs, lends itself to his modern renditions of classic jazz tunes, and his shows are always high-flying fun. Carlsen’s new EP, “My Love” just released this year, and you can check it out on your favorite streaming services.
Of course, Dining is Art at Bayside, and the menu is no different, with favorites like Griddle Crab Cake Florentine, a slow-roasted short rib hash, Canadian Benedict and Seared Salmon, along with all-you-can-drink Champagne.
