BLVD Kitchen in Sherman Oaks is hosting an amazing event benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara – KITCHEN GLADIATORS.
This kitchen competition pits two teams of 16 chefs against each other for a surprise challenge: preparing dishes created by each celebrity judge. The twist? Contestants do not get recipes for any dish – only a brief tasting – so they will have to use their instincts, taste buds and culinary expertise to impress the judges and emerge victorious.
Melissa d’Arabian, Simon Majumdar, Aarti Sequeira and Carnie Wilson will be on hand to judge the teams as they show off their cooking chops and battle through surprise challenges.
Proceeds from the competition benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties (UCPLA), and are going towards the purchase of kitchen tools and equipment for the organization’s 20 group homes for adults with developmental disabilities.
