This Weekend, Join Us at our Own “Laguna Voice” Stage in Downtown Laguna Beach!

In honor of the giant (and international) Music Party, Fete de la Musique, in Laguna Beach this Saturday, Mozambique will have its very own stage from noon to 4:00 p.m., with a spotlight on multiple winning contestants of our popular Laguna Voice singing contest.

Join us this Saturday (June 17th) with our sister restaurant, Skyloft, in the parking lot at the intersection of Glenneyre and Mermaid streets (next to Broadway Restaurant). We’ll have Peri Peri Chicken Pops, Boerewors Sausage Skewers, Brisket Sliders and select wines and craft beers available for just $5 throughout the afternoon.

Stroll the streets of Laguna Beach to hear more than 50 different musicians performing for the annual Fete, but be sure to find our Laguna Voice stage in the heart of downtown Laguna for fantastic regional singers and Francois Dean with his phenomenal band of musicians!

JUNIOR Laguna Voice Debuts Tues, June 20th

5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

We have so many talented kids stepping up to our Laguna Voice stage that we decided to create an entirely separate singing contest, Junior Laguna Voice, for 7-17-year-olds. The first monthly event takes place this coming Tuesday, June 20th, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. (just before the regular Laguna Voice begins.)

Our Junior Laguna Voice is a professionally designed show with lights, sound and action. Francois Dean hosts the event, and his talented musicians will be performing  as each singer’s back-up band. Professional judges will be awarding the top three singers with cash prizes.

For our debut week, we have 7 contestants singing everything from blues to opera, and folk to pop. Bring your family and friends for a fantastic show (arrive early to enjoy our Happy Hour menu of food and drinks until 6:00 p.m.!)
