MAINopoly: Taste of Main Street

The inaugural MAINopoly: Taste of Main Streetevent will take place on Sunday, May 25th from 2-8 p.m.at the street’s best food and beverage establishments toraise funds for Summer SOULstice and Heal the Bay. MAINopoly is a fun, interactive community event that mirrors the classic board gameand gives participants a culinary tour of Main Street’sfinest restaurants, juiceries,coffee shops and bars.
Attendees will receive food tastings in exchange for special MAINopoly dollars,whichwill include items such as as fresh fish ceviche from Enterprise Fish Co., goat cheese en pan tostada from Manchego, famed Magic Brownies from M Street Kitchen, Captain Ron’s Mac n Cheese from The Galley, Freddos Iced Coffee from Peet’s, California Rolls from Tsukiji Sushi Sen and more. Select restaurants will also be offering special happy hour menus and drink specials such as $4 draft beers and $5 cocktails and shots, to those with the official event wristband.

Other activities include beer gardens, “Go Directly to Jail” photo booth and more Memorial Day weekend festivities. Attendees are encouraged to dress in “Monopoly”-inspired or patriotic (red, white and blue) attire, and those who hit all of the locations will be entered to win a Taste of Main Street prize with gift certificates to participating locations.
