Celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition in a unique way – with stories about how it happened and how it changed all of us, plus cocktails from the period! The Museum of the American Cocktail and historian Richard Foss present a funny and illuminating talk about the “Noble Experiment” and its aftermath while you enjoy tastes of Southern cuisine from famed Bosscat Kitchen and cocktails by drinkmaster Matt Sharp.
Everyone is encouraged to dress appropriately – dust off that flapper dress, be a bootlegger or temperance campaigner, or maybe the fellow who runs the illegal still! The evening offers both revelry and insights into an extraordinary period in the American experience.
Tickets are $35 for NatFAB-MOTAC and USBG members, $40 General Admission in advance, and $50 at the door (if available). NatFAB-MOTAC membership is available to all at natfab.org/membership.
