It’s A Triple Play Father’s Day In Fuego For Beer, BBQ and Sports

Dads will enjoy complimentary craft beer tastings; a BBQ Station with Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Slow Braised Pork Shoulder, Kielbasa Sausages and St. Louis Ribs; and a variety of family-friendly games.

Set up a “beer flight,” set out the barbecue and get set for sports on multiple screens this Father’s Day in Fuego at Hotel Maya on Sunday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will also enjoy a variety of family-friendly games and live entertainment throughout the day on the waterfront patios.

Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego’s stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.

Fuego will provide a variety of complimentary craft beer tastings for Father’s Day. Several beer specials will also be offered during the day including bucket of beers. In addition, various sports games will be presented on a state-of-the-art, high definition, indoor projection screen, as well as several TVs throughout Fuego’s lounge.

Fuego’s Barbeque Station offers Slow Roasted Prime Rib with Au Jus; St Louis BBQ Ribs with Jack Daniel’s Barbeque; Slow Braised Pork Shoulder with Guava Barbeque; Kielbasa Sausages with roasted peppers and onions; Caramelized Sweet Plantains with chipotle honey glaze; along with Sweet Grain Mustard and Pretzel Rolls.

Fresh Seafood and Ceviches stations features Jumbo Gulf shrimp, Alaskan king crab legs and Oysters. Fuego Ceviches include Citrus Bay scallops and calamari, Hojas de salmon and Mexican shrimp cocktail.

Father’s Day Salads feature the Chef’s Selection of Green Salads and Dressings; Orzo Pasta Salad with kalamata olive, parsley, tomato, red onion and basil; Street Corn Salad with garlic aioli, queso fresco and tajin; German Potato Salad with hard-boiled eggs; Gordo Bean and Haricot Vert Salad; and Pepper Oregano Vinaigrette.

Platters and Displays feature Tabla de Quesos, Domestic and Imported; Fresh Fruit and Seasonal Berries including Papaya, Kiwi, Passion Fruit and Mango; Grilled Vegetable including asparagus, artichokes and Portobello; Vodka Cured salmon with traditional condiments; and Beefsteak Tomatoes and Mozzarella with balsamic reduction.

Fuego’s Hot Entrées features a selection of Fuego Eggs Benedict with spinach, bacon Hollandaise, Applewood smoked bacon and grilled cilantro sausages; Grilled Sword Fish with melon mint relish; Lobster Mac and Cheese with smoked cheddar cheese sauce and chunks of lobster claws; Baked Potato Bar with whipped butter, chives, sour cream, bacon bits, cheddar cheese broccoli, mushrooms and chili; or Yukon Gold Roasted Wedges Potatoes.

Omelet and Waffles station offers Omelets Made to Order with an assortment of vegetables, meats and cheeses; and Waffles with Nutella chocolate, maple syrup, glaze sugar; fresh bananas and berries, and Fried Chicken.

Fuego’s delicious Dessert Station presents a selection of miniature cakes; caramel chocolate pecan tart, double chocolate cake, apple and peach cobbler, carrot cake, pineapple upside down cake, warm bread pudding, caramel flan metropolitano, warm churros and assorted chocolate fondue.

Fuego’s Father’s Day Triple Play guests will enjoy beer tastings and specials, in addition to complimentary coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks.
