Show mom some love with Fuego’s Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch at Hotel Maya on Sunday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., along with live Latin jazz on the seaside patio.
Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego’s stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.

Executive Chef Victor Juarez has prepared a magnificent Mother’s Day Brunch beginning with Salads including Spring Green with red chili pecans, shaved red onion, tomato, cucumber and daikon champagne vinaigrette; Soba Noodle with grilled green papaya, asparagus, snap peas, roasted cashews, rice noodle and ginger sesame cilantro dressing; Spring Kale and Berry with raspberry vinaigrette;Waldorf, a classic version with apples, grapes, celery and walnuts;Creamy Spring Potato; and Japanese Seaweed; along with Classic Cheeses and Charcuterie Station, Tuscan antipasto selection of cured meats; heirloom caprese with burrata cheese; roasted vegetables with balsamic reduction; chilled gazpacho; exotic fresh fruit, melon and seasonal berries; trio of guacamole featuring nango-serrano, salsa verde and crispy onion; and tortilla chips with fire roasted salsa.
Mother’s Day entrée is ordered from the server and includes a selection of Seafood Paella with saffron rice; Grilled Lamb Chops with roasted fingerling potatoes and red chimichurri; Seared Salmon with pineapple relish and achiote sauce; Caribbean Chicken Breast with corn salsa and lime garlic sauce; Lobster Ravioli with chipotle beurre blanc; along with Yukon potato puree and spring vegetables.
Fuego’s Seafood Station presents Ceviche with bay scallops, mahi mahi and shrimp; Smoked Salmon with mini bagels, cream cheese and traditional condiments; Gulf Shrimp; Mussels Escabeche and Oysters.
The ever-popular Fuego Taco Cart features street tacos made to order.
Mother’s Day Omelet Station offers a variety of egg specialties including omelets made to order with an assortment of vegetables, meats and cheeses; Eggs Benedict with shaved ham and Hollandaise sauce; Blackberry Crêpes with crème sauce; Leek and Black Truffle Quiche; as well as applewood smoked bacon androasted potatoes.
Delicious Mother’s Day sweet treats include Miniature Desserts with crème brûlée, Parisian macaroons, chocolate éclairs,fruit tarts, and grand marnier cream puffs, along with assorted cakes.
Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch guests will enjoy complimentary champagne or sparking cider, coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks.
Fuego’s Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch costs $67.00 per adult and children, 13 and older; $33.00 for children, 12 and under; Free for children 5 and under; plus tax and gratuity. An 18 percent gratuity will be added to parties of six or more.
