WRAP & ROLL

VIETNAMESE APPETIZERS
WITH
KIMLAI YINGLING

Sunday, October 13
2-3:30 PM

Pacific Food & Beverage Museum
731 S. Pacific Ave., San Pedro, CA 90731

The spring roll is perhaps Vietnam’s most popular culinary export. On Sunday, October 13, learn why when Kimlai Yingling, a Vietnamese-American food writer, culinary producer, and founder of EatinAsian.com, visits LA’s Pacific Food & Beverage Museum. Kimlai will prepare—and share!—Vietnamese Spring Rolls with a Soviia Agave-infused peanut sauce. She’ll also discuss other popular appetizers and the history of Vietnamese cuisine, the origins of its flavors, and the reasons it’s considered the most healthful of Asian food cultures. After the program, enjoy a pour or two of Japanese Shochu and other refreshments prepared with fresh fare from Melissa’s Produce.

ZERO PROOF

LYRE’S NON-ALCOHOLIC SPIRITS
WITH
MATT MARTINEZ

Sunday, October 20
2-3:30 PM

Pacific Food & Beverage Museum
731 S. Pacific Ave., San Pedro, CA 90731

Non-alcoholic beer has been brewed and enjoyed by millions since the advent of Prohibition. But until recently, the distinctive tastes and pleasures of fine spirits were off limits to those who either cannot or choose not to imbibe them. On Saturday, September 14, visit LA’s Pacific Food & Beverage Museum for an afternoon with Matt Martinez, Brand Ambassador at Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Spirits, created in Australia but now available world wide. Guests will learn how Lyre’s has been crafted to replicate the flavors of the world’s favorite spirits, the market changes that created a demand for them, and taste selections from Lyre’s extensive range of zero-proof, “impossibly-crafted” expressions. After the program, enjoy refreshments courtesy Melissa’s Produce and PacFAB Director Tracey Mitchell.

Admission is Free with RSVP!
