National Rum Day

In addition to craft gin and vodka Portuguese Bend recently released two Rums. They have their Queens Passage Spiced Rum and Queens Passage White Rum.

Queens Passage Spiced Rum

Our spiced rum is infused with whole ingredients and nothing artificial. It’s great in a Cuba Libré or in rum cocktails that normally call for falernum. All of our rums made at Portuguese Bend Distilling start with domestics raw sugar and baker’s grade molasses. Those high quality ingredients ensure a flavorful beginning to which we impart a select yeast strain to create tropical fruit and roasted coconut notes. Made with whole spices, no added chemicals, nothing artificial. Warm spice notes of cinnamon, allspice, vanilla and a hint of orange citrus.  40% ABV / 80 Proof

Queens Passage White Rum

This rum is a small batch dedication to the colonial style rums that fueled revolution and celebrated liberty in early American taverns. All of our rums made at Portuguese Bend Distilling start with domestics raw sugar and baker’s grade molasses. Those high quality ingredients ensure a flavorful beginning to which we impart a select yeast strain to create tropical fruit and roasted coconut notes. A medium dry rum with hints of raw sugar and cane grass. This rum is a great base for traditional punches, grogs and innovative craft cocktails.  40% ABV / 80 Proof
