Bruxie-the waffle sandwich joint taking over Southern California-celebrates National Waffle Day on August 24^th with a new, one-day-only BBQ Pork Belly “Banh Mi” sandwich. Yes, you read right-a pork belly waffle sandwich.

Bruxie Co-Founders Dean Simon and Kelly Mullarney decided to go big with the holiday that means the most to the team, encouraging fans past, present, and future to take advantage of the offer. The inspired sandwich is made with layers of juicy roasted pork belly, a generous drizzle of Spiced Cola BBQ Sauce, pickled vegetables, and fresh cilantro-all enveloped in an airy, crisp waffle shell.

The pork belly waffle sandwich ($11.95) will be available at all Bruxie locations starting at 10am until they sell out. For the traditionalists, the signatures such as the Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Waffle, the Bruxie Burger, and the Turkey Club will remain available.
