On New Year’s Eve, one thing is for sure: a big ticket does not always equal a good time. If beer, friends and music sound like the recipe for a great night, Angel City Brewery’s “No-Cover New Year’s Eve Bash” is just the (free) ticket. Fancy dress not required.
From 8 pm – 1 am, the Public House will be abuzz with festivities, partygoers can fill up on food from Kai Kai Dumplings, Market Burgers and Peaches Smokehouse & Southern Kitchen, and dance the night away to bands Naked Walrus, JUICE, and Dirty Lingo. Party favors go to the first 150 guests and there will be a special Champagne Berliner toast at midnight. Made only for the holidays, this twist on the brewery’s regular Berliner-Weisse is blended with Chardonnay and Viognier grape must, then fermented with a house strain of Belgian yeast and pushed to the limit of carbonation.
“New Year’s Eve is always so full of pressure,” said Melissa Corbin, high priestess of party at Angel City Brewery. “But we don’t do pressure – we do fun. This party is analog style – real people, real beer, really good times.”
