Oktoberfest is the German celebration of some old royal union …….or maybe being thankful for the harvest……. and then there’s a horse race involved somehow?

Ok, lets start over. Today, Oktoberfest is about beer. Delicious, crisp, golden beer. Thanks to the German beer purity laws, they have some of the most meticulously crafted, refreshingly enjoyed, pilsners available today.  This menu showcases how well these German beers go with food.

This year Delius Restaurant’s Oktoberfest Beer Dinner is being held at Timeless Pints Brewery in Lakewood. This place has great beer and wonderful people. Add to that, Chef Kate’s amazing food and you’ve got an event that can’t be beat. Five-courses will be served alongside perfectly paired beers.
