Tam O’Shanter, a member of the Lawry’s family of restaurants and one of the oldest restaurants in Los Angeles, has put together a Mid-Winter Scotch dinner featuring unique pairings and amazing single malt scotches. While L.A.’s winter might not reach frigid, or even really cold temperatures, this special and fun event at the Tam promises to warm up hearts and melt away the blues. The event will occur on Wednesday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m.; cost is $80 per person plus tax and gratuity, and reservations are available immediately by calling the Tam at (323) 664-0228.

The Mid-Winter Scotch Dinner will include a five-course dinner with five select single malt scotches. The pairings-created by the Tam’s executive chef Mark Kalenderian and in-house whiskey expert John Maraffi-will be:

Spirit 1: Glenmorangie Nectar D’oro
Tasting Notes: Aged in sauterne casks, this is a light perfumed scotch with sauterne notes and a light spice finish
