A Great Day’ for the Irish Comes Early – St. Practice Day At The Queen Mary:
Join the green revelry at Shamrock N’ Roll – Saturday, March 15th
St. Patrick would approve, it’s better to celebrate on a weekend than a workday. The Queen Mary’s annual green party is slated for Saturday, March 15th and gives the occasional Irish a few days practice before celebrating America’s favorite Celtic holiday. Call the 15th St. Practice Day or Erin go Braugh in advance; either way the Queen Mary green team is ready to kick-off the weekend with green beer, pub games, Irish food and more.
Shamrock N’ Roll’s live entertainment will take over the Queen Mary Promenade Deck, Queen’s Salon and Royal Salon with Shamrockabilly, Celtic tunes, Irish pub songs, Irish Rock, Folk, dance music and more.
The pioneers of Shamrockabilly, Craic Haus, will be joined by other well-known favorites such as The Mansfield Band, Dublin Public, the powerhouse Irish band Green Ashes, Riverside’s Them Novus and the highly regarded local group, The Most Valuable Players (The MVP’s). From traditional Irish drinking songs and ballads, modernized Celtic classics to dance party jams, the combination of Irish culture and Queen Mary tradition will make any Irish man or woman proud.
Shamrock N’ Roll is a 21+ event Saturday, March 15th from 7PM-1AM. Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door. Parking is $5 with event validation. Grab n’ Go stations and Observation Bar’s special menu will feature banger n’ mash, corned beef sandwiches and other Irish fare.
