Sip, Shop and Make a Difference at Angel City Brewery’s Hoppy Holidays Event

Unsure of what to gift this holiday season? Stop by Angel City Brewery’s Hoppy Holidays soiree on Sunday, December 13, from 12-8 pm to sip great beer, shop locally and support Skid Row Housing and Trust with winter coat donations.

The Public House will be a flurry of holiday cheer as 35 local arts and craft vendors showcase their locally sourced, hand-crafted art, jewelry, food, crafts, clothing and more. After shopping, stick around for bands including Dani Poppy and Jeanette Steiner, Mimi Zulu, Denmantau and Dirty Lingo and food from Papas Tapas and Chinese Laundry set up in the lot.

But what feels even better than shopping and indulging? Helping others. Bring that extra coat taking up serious closet space for the coat drive and earn a few extra tickets for the raffle. For every donation, guests will receive one raffle ticket that can be entered into a drawing for items contributed by the vendors. Each donated jacket will support the Skid Row Housing and Trust’s commitment to preventing and ending homelessness in greater Los Angeles.

“We are so fortunate to have built this great community here at the brewery,” said Melissa Corbin, high priestess of party at Angel City Brewery. “Holidays are the time to gather, appreciate what you have and also give back. We hope our neighbors, friends and fans will help us help others this holiday season, and have some fun while doing it!”

Angel City Brewery is a Downtown based brewery featuring a 19-tap bar and serving an ever-changing roster of classic and newly inspired beer. The bar is open 7 days a week with a full calendar of events ranging from weekly industry and trivia nights, to art shows, live music and festivals. Private event space is also available. The Public House is open Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm – 12:00am, Friday 4:00pm – 1:00am, Saturday 12:00pm – 1:00am, and Sunday 12:00pm – 12:00am.
