Sunday Sessions of Poetry with SideDoor

SideDoor in Corona del Mar is pleased to announce unique readings by local resident artists of Poetry Salon at “Sunday Sessions” on Sunday, May 5. Founded by Jennifer Styperk, Poetry Salon transforms an individual’s thoughts, feelings and experiences into poetic language. Special guest poets to include Aaron Kunin, acclaimed poet and assistant professor of English at Pomona College; Marco Di Domenico, founder of artist live/work and exhibition space Concord; Diana Arterian, editor-in-chief of Gold Line Press; Ani Raya-Flores, an award-winning writer; and Jennifer Styperk, founder of Poetry Salon. Complementing the hip brunch fare will be illuminating images by photographer Steve Harris and the live, i¼ber genius stylings from StereoSystem Collective.

SideDoor Sunday Sessions hip brunch menu changes weekly. Past menu items include pork belly hash for those with a passion for meat, unique Green Eggs and Ham (SideDoor’s version of eggs Benedict), tomato scramble with chanterelles and roasted corn, confit duck drumettes as a special take on Buffalo wings, limited release craft beers, and much more.
