On Wednesday, October 12, the Tam O’Shanter, a member of the Lawry’s family of restaurants and one of Los Angeles’ oldest eating establishments, will host a very special four course wine pairing dinner highlighting the extensive portfolio of award-winning Sean Minor Winery. Featured wines include 2015 Sean Minor Sauvignon Blanc, California (complimented with a mozzarella and beet terrine appetizer); 2014 Sean Minor Pinot Noir, Central Coast (complimented with a garlic shrimp salad garnished with radicchio, walnuts and pickled radish); 2013 Sean Minor Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley (complimented with the main entree of braised short ribs, sweet potato, kale and salsa verde); and 2013 H. Mynors Zinfandel, Old Vine Cuvee, Sonoma, Amador and Lodi (complimented with spiced pear tart for dessert).
Sean Minor Winery’s western sales manager Stuart Barker will be on hand to guide guests through each tasting. Barker attended the Culinary Academy, Southampton Tech in the UK. He is also a former Chef and restaurant owner.
