Third Annual King of the Smoker Invitational

LA QUINTA, Calif. The third annual King of the Smoker (KOS) competition, the world’s largest and most exclusive barbecue invitational, is being presented by Big Poppa Smokers and La Quinta Resort & Club on Saturday, December 13, starting at 1:30 p.m. This elite event features everything BBQ including an old-school competition among 24 of the world’s best pitmasters and their talented teams vying for $50,000 in cash prizes. This regal day ends with the crowning of the “King of the Smoker” at 6 p.m. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Casey Lee Ball Foundation for pediatric kidney disease research, and proceeds from food sales go to Operation BBQ Relief.
