This year, the annual Orange Home Grown Urban Chicken Coop Tour will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 11:30-4pm. This self guided tour is a great way to meet other chicken lovers, ask questions, share stories, and gain access to great backyard chicken resources.
We have a great line-up of vendors this year taking part in this community event! Tickets are $10 per adult. 18 years old and younger are FREE, but must be accompanied by an adult (if under the age of 16). Tickets are on sale now! Tickets can be purchased in person at the Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market (for cash or check) on the day of the event, or on line through eventbrite.
This year the event will be kicked off with a talk by chicken owner and expert Todd Beason that will take place at the Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market at 11:30am. Self Guided Tour Maps and event programs must be picked up in person at 12:00pm from the Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market (304 N. Cypress Street, Orange CA 92866) the day of the event.
The “Coop Yard” will host a variety of vendors and chicken experts at Immanual Lutheran Preschool, and our “Celebrity Coop” this year is Chapman University President Dr. Doti’s coop. Come be part of the fun! Cluck, cluck!
