From 11 AM to 1 PM, VIPs and All-Day ticket holders will become fluent in the language of Zinfandel at this exclusive Reserve and Barrel tasting. One hundred winemakers and principals will pour samples at their tables providing a “sneak peek” of upcoming vintages and special Zinfandels that have earned the title of “Reserve.” This walk-around experience offers a special insight into the wineries’ most prized Zinfandel treasures.
At 1 PM, doors open for ZAP members and at 2 PM for non-members. Throughout The Tasting, winemakers and owners will personally share their deep passion for their craft. Whether you explore the flavors of Zinfandel blends, single vineyards and old vine Zinfandels, or delve into the distinctive dialects of Zinfandel growing regions, your palate is in for a treat. Expand your Zinfandel vocabulary by attending a variety of winemaker workshops and visit the General Store to bring home some of your favorite discoveries. Gourmet food trucks add to the experience with hearty fare and opportunities to socialize with members of the Zinfandel community. Zinfandel’s star is on the rise. Reach out and grab it.

The Golden Gate Club expands with a spacious tented courtyard to provide a seamless backdrop for exploring the versatile flavors of Zinfandel at this informal dine-around. Go glamourous! Mad Men, the popular TV show, is the inspiration for the 2015 Zinfandel Experience dinner and auction. Our reception features winemakers ‘pouring it big’ with magnums and reserve offerings. Enjoy an intimate dinner hosted by celebrities of the wine world and a customized menu that boasts the best in farm-to-table cuisine. The live and silent auctions, benefiting ZAP’s programming, education and Heritage Projects, will feature one-of-a-kind lots, rare bottles, winery experiences and much more. A separate ticket is offered for the Winemakers Reception only.
