Chef Sergio Ortega now presents authentic Mexican flavors on a Plancha Weekend Brunch Menu that features classics like Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros and Machaca Alambre, made to order in front of guests by Descanso’s talented Taquero Chefs. Those with a sweet tooth can opt for the Conchas Bread Pudding, made with Mexican sweet bread, seasonal berries, pistachio brittle and agave syrup.
Chef Ortega has also created a Weekend Brunch menu to excite non-Plancha diners. In the restaurant’s main dining room and patio, he offers a Salmon Avocado Toast with Steelhead Salmon Confit and Sweet Corn “Pozole Verde” with the season’s most flavorful roasted sweet corn. Guests will also find traditional Mexican breakfast dishes like Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Torta and Burrito Con Huevo. And since Weekend Brunch wouldn’t be complete without amazing cocktails, guests throughout the restaurant are invited to indulge in Bottomless Mimosas that come with a choice of Pineapple, Guava or Orange Juice, or other brunchy beverages, including the Bloody Maria, Divine Swine, and Will You Accept this Rosé? Descanso Restaurant delivers a unique Mexican dining experience as a modern taqueria that celebrates authentic Mexican flavors and recipes executed on a traditional Plancha and prepared a la minute in front of the guest. With Executive Chef Fonzy de Zuniga at the helm, the full-service restaurant is committed to providing only fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from local farms and does not believe in cooking with lard or using can openers. Drawing guests into the cooking experience as classic Central Mexican street-inspired cuisine is made to order, the restaurant’s lively setting celebrates tradition while bringing in the music, smells, and energy of a busy Mexican town.

Plancha Table
Make a reservation at the Plancha Table for an intimate experience with our Taquero Chef. This is a multi-course meal where each item is cooked and prepared at your table!
Taco Bar
The Taco Bar is an a la carte version of the “Plancha” experience. Reservations are not available at the Taco Bar; simply come in and pull up an empty seat at the Taco Bar and our Taquero Chef will serve you!
Dining Room and Patio
Make a reservation in our Dining Room or Patio. Here you will enjoy options from our traditional menu in a beautiful setting.
Indoor and Outdoor Bar
Come pull up an empty seat at either bar and enjoy a freshly prepared cocktail with your meal. The full menu is served at both bars and sporting events are typically viewed on the TVs.
Reservations are not required, but they are recommended... especially on the weekends and/or if you are booking a plancha table!
