The Neptune School of Wine is Southern California's premier source for Wine Education, offering Wine and Spirit Education Trust Courses, or WSET, through The Neptune School of Wine as well as the French Wine Scholar Program. Founded by Peter Neptune - one of only 236 individuals in the world to have earned the title of Master Sommelier - the Neptune School of Wine is the first WSET Approved Program Provider in Southern California, established in 2003. They offer the only WSET Courses taught by or overseen by a Master Sommelier and WSET Diploma Holder, at levels from Intermediate (WSET 2) to an Honors Diploma in Wine & Spirits (WSET 5). Neptune School also offers a Level 2 Professional Certification in Spirits and an International Higher Certificate in Wines & Spirits, for English-second language speakers.
