A new reimagining of a classic German Beer Hall, Wursthaus serves up delicious sausages and 20+ imported beers in a wonderfully uncomplicated way. The menu is divided into three types of sausages: classics, gourmet, and exotic. Guests must choose between a pretzel roll and a more traditional bun, which will then be topped with their choice of toppings: sauerkraut, sautéed jalapeños, and sautéed onions are three such options. Wursthaus is also known for their Drunken Fries, which are traditional Belgian fries that are triple fried and then topped with a homemade haus andalouse sauce and IPA caramelized onions. Open late, until 2 am on Friday & Saturday, Wursthaus is often the first or last stop on a Downtown Santa Ana bar-crawl. With a laid-back atmosphere sprinkled with community tables, it is the perfect place to enjoy a pint of bier with friends or strangers.
