The critically-acclaimed Rancho Santa Margarita-based restaurant The Blind Pig Kitchen + Bar has planted roots in the new Yorba Linda Town Center and will celebrate the Grand Opening of its second Orange County location on Wednesday, October 16. Guests will get a first look at the 3,000 sq. ft. prohibition speakeasy-inspired space and have the opportunity to experience the eatery’s reimagined lunch and dinner menu, and exceptional craft cocktail program.

“We are thrilled to have the Grand Opening in our sights and excited for the opportunity to showcase the new menu offerings, alongside a few staples from the Rancho Santa Margarita location, that Yorba Linda has yet to see,” said Tony Monaco, owner of The Blind Pig Kitchen + Bar. “Also debuting at the new location will be a Chef’s Counter where Chef Karl can routinely flex his culinary prowess.  He and I have been dreaming about doing this for a while now, so we are more than excited to see it finally come together.”

The intimate chef’s counter will have four seats located off the lively kitchen with a full view of the action, allowing Chef Karl Pfleider to experiment with special customized tasting menus for advance bookings. The Yorba Linda location also features a larger and more expansive kitchen, allowing Chef Karl and the culinary team to offer a more extensive menu of New-American dishes, that will change seasonally.

Designed by Malibu-based Bitton Design Group, the restaurant has an industrial feel with visible brass pipes, but also stays within the prohibition era look and feel with exposed brick, dark wood details, and other accents. The restaurant seats 60 indoors, 40 outdoors on a patio for dining al fresco, and 24 in the bar.

The bar program will focus on specialty craft cocktails and offer a curated selection of local beers on draft that will rotate regularly. All syrups are made in house, and the bartenders work alongside the kitchen to create new seasonal cocktails to pair expertly with the cuisine.

The mixology offerings alongside Chef Karl’s New American menus have earned The Blind Pig numerous accolades. The Blind Pig is recognized as a top craft cocktail bar in South County and has been called a “destination for diners from coastal communities like Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and Huntington Beach” by the Los Angeles Times.

The Blind Pig in Yorba Linda will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and is located at 4975 Lakeview Ave.  Reservations can be made in advance. Visit theblindpigoc.com/yorba-linda for more information.
